IE8 is going under standard mode. Older web pages will have to specify which IE they will run under. (7 or 8)

sp1 for vista is already out but i might've discussed that already when talking about the sp1 hack to get it early with a reg editor.

not officially out yet, but there's a lot of minor changes to the interface with vista that are now the same as XP or better. One thing being the slider bar on the bottom right of the start bar, the display settings option being added in the right-click menu on the desktop and new display options of files in windows explorer.

@blitz: I've only heard bad things about IE8... like pc's not willing to start anymore, not possible opening new tabs, not possible to put front page in etc...

and that on modern pc's hell XD i'll stick with IE7

I haven't used IE8 yet. I haven't even updated my vista to SP1 lol.

Oh and if you have a look at the 3rd link on my previous post, they've deleted the article. I suspect they did it on the grounds of revealing developers secrets. Just goes to show how quick that topic travelled around

you need IE7+ for MSN>_>
if I delete IE, my pc will all day long argue about the necesary update etc.
I use FF to surf, but can't use anything else then IE to read my mails >_<
