When did you watch your first anime?

Well, I think I did start watching animes in 1999/2000 if i recall correctly... Sadly, it was Pokemon. xD

But the 2nd anime I've watched was Dragonball Z, so THANK GOD I STARTED TO WATCH ANIMES (even tho i want to hit me for watching pokemon)

I voted 2001-2002, since that's why I watched my first anime with jpn audio.
Otherwise it would have been 1996-1997 or something.

btw, since when did DB get good? :S

but I only met the bunch of addicts in my 5th year in a new school XD
otherwise I would have been much earlier

the first one I watched was Chobits
I'm now rewatching it and wondering why I didn't stop because of the eechii parts

obviously it's the first anime over all, no matter if it's dubbed or not. otherwise i would've asked: "When did you watch your first anime in jpn language?" or something like that

I dunno rly.I'm sure i watched some anime before 2001 but just wasn't aware it's anime(like transformers and shit).
That aside I guess vintage year is around 2001

i think i might haved an watch anime a long time ago and though it was just some cartoon.
but i think it was between rounin warriors and yu yu hakusho, dont recall the year.

as for subbs hmm first one was in 2005, my friend show me naruto about where sasuke left and team shikamaru was formed up till sasuke vs naruto. after that the first series i dl on my own i think was tenjo tenge, that or ...... yeah im pretty sure it was that.

oh man does transformers (original) count? It WAS originally jap. If that's so, i've seen it when i was probably aged 2-4. Confirmed anime would have been Voltron which was around 1990 (I could have possibly seen a re-run but i can't remember at that age. I dont remember anything before my age of 4 lol)

Started downloading anime in 2003 (naruto batch files from Lunar). Also downloaded Full Metal Panic : TSR later that year which was excellent. (I'm lucky my first benchmarks were high )
